On 4th December the Estonian Road Cluster and Tallinn University of Technology organised a pavement training day.
The Estonian pavement calculation software (KAP) was completed in 2011, and as of 30.04.2012 it must be used for the procurements of the Estonian Road Administration. This allowed creating a common system, available to all, for finding economical and long lasting solutions.The training day gave an overview of the changes to be included in the pavement calculation manual and the KAP in terms of the results of the study of sandy surfaces. The changes in regulations are going to be applied in the first half of 2015.
