On 16 May Sven Pertens, Chairman of the Board of the Estonian Asphalt Pavement Association, and Peeter Škepast, Head of Ramboll Eesti AS, signed a contract to carry out a concrete study for the Road Cluster. The aim of the study is to identify the different uses of controlled low strength material (concrete with low water content and low compressive strength; in English: LC - lean concrete, RCC - roller compacted concrete, CBGM - cement bound granular mixture) and its purposeful use in infrastructure construction.
The deadline for the project is September 2014 and the study will be co-funded by Enterprise Estonia and the European Regional Development Fund.
